Workshop Hands-On Computer Accounting with QuickBooks Pro
Purpose
This one day workshop has been formatted to help those individuals who are just beginning their relationship with Quickbooks Pro accounting software. It is also beneficial to those individuals currently working with Quickbooks Pro who aren't sure if they are using the software to its fullest potential. During the course of we will go through the basic hands-on steps of setting up and operating a construction bookkeeping system, review accounting terminology, and relational database applications. You will learn to set up customers, jobs, vendors, a chart of accounts and the cost codes necessary to track job costs and profitability. You will work with inventory and non-inventory items, adjust journal entries, calculate earned and unearned income, percentages of completion and prepaid expenses, and create financial reports.
